FAQ: Can I use sky remote codes on this?
No, No "codes" are required, you can find your TV during the scan based on the brand/make of TV that you have.
How does this differ from a sky remote?
We have put firmware onto this remote to enable the volume etc to work where there is no code on sky / virgin remotes.
How many times will I need to press the up key?
It depends upon the Brand. Popular models like Alba, Bush Goodmans etc can have 50 or so types whereas most only have 2 or 3.
It this complicated to setup?
Not really. It is already set for sky+ so you just need to set for your TV by holding select and red, then enter brand, press up key a few times then all done.
If you have an old sky box you just hold select and yellow.
If you have virgin you hold select and blue.
Does it store the setting if the batteries are changed?
Yes. The setup remains even if you change or remove the batteries.

If you keep pressing the up key too fast you may go past your TV. If this happens just press the down key to go back to the last code. If you scan quickly and the menu appears, try the volume etc, press help to get rid of the menu. If no response just press the down key to go back to where you got the right code.
It is not like SMS where you press 2 once for A twice for B three times for C. You just press 2 once for A B or C. Very simple, real easy.
